This was it for me. Until we get another coach and QB I'm not wasting my time. I've been a vol fan most of my life and we've been through many tough times as fans but there is no excuse for what is happening to this team. I'll happily suffer through rebuilding years....injured key players and the occasional losses that should have been wins but these problems are totally fixable and nobody is doing a darn thing about it. The change has to begin with the fans. This fan won't be planning my life around vol football this season.

Thank you 4 letting us know 300 + pound Fulmer isn't in the #8 uniform out there. I may speak for everyone that has the same mood I do, and it is this. The reason I am mad at Fulmer is because Crompton isn't getting it done right now.

Look at the UCLA game, Hardesty running all over them in the 1st half and he plays foster in the 2nd the whole time. Then in the next game Foster is running everywhere and he plays Hardesty for the majority.

He is not making the choices as who he plays. Look at Tubberville today. Todd was winning 14- 6 but not doing anything in that game he puts in the backup and shakes things up and brings some excitement. When that didn't work he went back to Todd, but he tried something!

Fulmer isn't trying anything new. No trick plays, the same G-Gun crap, Luke "Lazy Boy" Stocker still playing and no Warren, and Crompton can't gain 10 yards today when we needed it. All we needed 4 different times in the 4th today to try a FG and couldn't get it. Crompton isn't even worried about losing his job because he knows Fulmer hasn't got the congas to pull him. And I hope Fulmer makes me eat my words.

You guys who think Fulmer doesn't control what happens in these games need a clue. Fulmer has the ULTIMATE power........He could have benched Crapton after the 5th 3 and out. So he DOES have a say so on how Crapton throws now doesn't he?

You don't punt because even with this absurdly bad offense, it's only 2 yards. I guess Fulmer was playing for auburn to fumble the ball in their end zone like we do!!! What a sad state for the program. And it will get WORSE, which I don't mind if it helps get rid of Fulmer.

Agreed! And who's fault is it if the back-ups don't understand the sytem? Ummmmmm.....not the fans who pay to watch this crap.

Fulmer is ultimately responsible--as he has been for the clusterf--k that has been this decade. He's not a good leader/coach/game-day decision-maker. Can't believe he didn't go for it on 4th and 2. What a joke.

Most of you guys didn't listen to Phil last week. He told us all that he wasnt going to bench Crompton. Why are you surprised that he didn't?

As for Clawson...........how can you blame him? This is not his offense. Its not the offense he was brought here to implement. He merely doesnt have the type of QB he needs in order to run his offense. He's as much at a loss for what to do with this guy as we are.

Clean house and keep Clawson/Chavis.


As for Crompton, he'd never wear the uniform again if I were coach. I'd dismiss him from this team tomorrow morning and kill his scholarship effective at the end of this school year (sooner, if possible).
