I think it's a travesty the SEC office is located in Birmingham. The whole SEC staff can't help but be influenced by being less than an hour from Tuscaloosa. I'm not suggesting a conspiracy theory, but if I see Bama gear every day here in TN, you know they are bombarded with it. SEC office should be in Memphis.

The explanation that Hagan reportedly gave CJP is he thought he heard a TN coach yell out "Timeout!". When he polled the TN sideline, every coach said "not me". He reportedly then said, "oh well, my bad, reset the play clock". In most situations, it wouldn't have been the disaster it was in this scenario, as we were up tempo for that play that play would have undoubtedly resulted in a TD (assuming we weren't going to do any stupid penalty stuff).
