PFF: Guarantano 13th of 14 SEC QBs

Once again, we really cannot criticize JG, as he is living up to his potential. Coach Chaney gets all the blame placed at his feet but WAIT. Since Coach Chaney cannot see his feet, he is not aware that VN is not happy with JGs continual dismal performance.

I'd take Trask. Let's see if UGA uses the "Guarantano Defense" against UF.....

If I'm allowed to wander outside the SEC, then Trevor Lawrence.

Either one of those would likely have given the defense time to catch their breath in the 2nd half. But that's all speculation. All we are left with is what actually transpired. But if...or when...UGA runs into a QB who knows how to make hot reads and plays well against UGA this year...that should pretty much deflate the last balloon of defense of JG. Over the past 3+ years, we've blamed the staff...the OL...the RB's...the WR's...the TE's...the schedule...COVID...the S&C coach, and now back to the OL.

"Maybe poker just isn't your game, Ike. I know...let's have a spelling contest."

Go Vols.
My point is the list of QB's playing in the NCAA that could have made much difference against GA's D with our O line is very short.

That's a whole lot funnier than I wish it was.

I'm a Chaney fan overall but his performance lately has left a lot to be desired. Not sure what's going on there but we need Wild & Free Jimmy C, not the Jim Chaney that appears to be semi-retired.

I see his accuracy isn’t good, and he makes bad mistakes......but hey......other than that....

I don’t think this article or those stats take into account how good he is in practice!

Honestly, I don't recall a single instance of him recognizing a blitz and making them pay for it. What am I forgetting?
USCjrs game last season on TD to Jennings, long gainer to Johnson vs USCjrs this year where he communicated with Gray before the snap to pick up the blitzer to give him time to hit a wide open Johnson underneath. That play happened just 2 weeks ago and was referenced in the post game interview, but of course you must have missed that. The throw last season he broke his hand to Jennings for the TD was the best of his career I thought. You neverJGers never notice anything he does good, even going as far as to make statements absent of fact as you just did here.

No one requires you to post or look. This is going to be a topic of conversation until JG performs, Pruitt replaces him, or he runs out of eligibility. If you think this is bad... just wait and see what happens should he announce he's returning for next year.

I agree, but think it is just the amount of threads that most think may not be entirely necessary.
Like the "Official game thread," each game, we would really not need several of those.

Bill Parcells i.e. The Big Tuna says when it comes to football "you are who your numbers say you are."

Still waiting for you to post without condescending. I was referring to the Georgia game specifically, but relied on context to convey that. I should've specified. And I asked what I was forgetting. That's not a declaration.

Not surprised! I wish he had "it" but he doesn't. It is what it is and the young man gives it all he has, so there is that

Look around you Behr. There are literally 100 threads on JG alone. I think I can count at least one time that each of his “haters” said he’s a good kid and wish him the best. They call him a warrior and a VFL. You gotta look deeper than the surface of the complaint and at the root of it all lies a coach that keeps putting him out there no matter what. These are not “JG” hate threads. These are threads questioning the man in charge that benched other players for less and won’t give them half the opportunity he’s given JG. Given the fact that there are so many should tell you how big of a problem it actually is and an overwhelming number of Vol fans are just asking for consistency and EFFORT to find what the team is missing. That’s my opinion of how people feel given what I’ve read.
You're opinion is wrong.

Wow. PFF turned on JG now? Even the people with the arbitrary and ambiguous made up statistical measurements think JG is bad now. 2020 is cray cray.

So split the difference and you get JG's lifetime position of 9th in the SEC.

9th is technically middle of the pack if you use fuzzy pro JG math.

I do declare I AM DEFINITELY IN THE MOVIE GROUNDHOG DAY! Its starting to remind me of my daily conversation with my 91 year old mother (seriously). Usually goes like this..."Son, do you remember that Jones boy that grew up down the road from us, Billy, I think....well he turned out to be a bank robber..." my reply...EVERY DAY... "No mama he OWNED the bank and it was robbed many times...He's definitely NOT a bank robber"....mama's reply.....EVERY DAY..."Well son I think you're wrong".......:eek::eek::eek:....And we start all over again tomorrow and I love her dearly!!!
Well, there's an old saying that the best way to rob a bank is to own one.

Tell that to the all the people that agree
If they can read I already did.

I can't believe you're so blind. Look on this page alone. Good grief. People are talking about death threats.

Anyway, you and your buddies that agree are all wrong and I'm done.

They’re talking about twitter idiots. My opinion is clearly about the threads on VN.

Gotta wonder how horrible your life must be where you live so vicariously through a sports team you would wish that upon a member of it you don't like.
