PFF names top returning SEC linemen and four of them play for Kentucky | Kentucky Sports Radio

Trey Smith was the only returning on the list for us. UK is boasting that they will have the best offensive line next year. My argument was their numbers were highly skewed due to type of offense they ran the second half of the season. The Mildcat faithful disagreed with me. Thoughts?
I would ask the Kentucky football specialist @joevol33 what he thinks about it..😁 Romor has it, he's a huge Kentucky blue through and through fan... 😂🤣🤣🤣

Barely beat KY. Their offensive line helped get em 300 yards on the ground. UT had less than 90..

I still think UT will be the better line overall this year.

And if UT had run the ball 64 times in that game then we would have had 256 yards rushing.

They ran well but yards are skewed bc amount of run plays. Also that UK OLine became quite average when in scoring position. Put a whopping 13 on the board.

PFF also rated JG really high last year. So consider the source.
They did rank him high in the preseason among returning starters based on the year before. After the season he was ranked middle of the SEC.

Our line wasn't good.

PFF is the most respected source for non-biased data based football analysis. Anyone who thinks they are bad is an idiot.

VN needs to take off the orange shades sometimes. We have an above average line, remains to be seen if it is in the category of exceptional or best in SEC.
The following year we may be even better.

I don't think it takes orange shades to be excited about a 24* Oline. Now excuse me while I partake in a tasty beverage.1af8f53bb6ba8ce71bdc0c9fe4ebd4ee.jpg

The line wasnt good? Lol

Surprised it took this long for someone to blame the line on JG inadequacies at QB.

And Pff..they interject their own opinions into player grades..which is why JG didnt live up to the hype that they bought into.

If Kentucky had had a serviceable quarterback (Jarrett Guarantano?), they beat us this past year.

They’ve got an excellent offensive line.

No they were not good.

Average pass blocking and horrid run blocking equals not good.

Who was talking about quarterback? You have a weird obsession with hating UT qbs.

I've never hated UT QB's. JG is just the biggest bust I've ever seen here and awful. There have been worse but there have never been continually hyped QB's like JG. Its always "next year its all gonna click!!". LOL. No.
