OK maybe I'm not supposed to notice this, but I'll just go ahead and mention the elephant in the room - Is the Wonderlic a racist test? Why are so many blacks at the bottom and whites at the top? There are some outliers on both sides (medium-higher end blacks - Freeman, Russell... lower end whites, Marino, Bradshaw, etc.) but overall the results are blatantly skewed on both sides. Does anyone else not find this odd?
Peyton's work ethic is what separates him from others. While he is of course very intelligent, he out works everyone else and is a great leader.

Cowherd was talking about this very subject this morning. He seems to think (TIFWIW) that the reason those QBs were successful is because they played in a different, much less complex NFL. I can kind of see what he is saying in that Marino et al didn't have the pre-snap reads, motions, etc. that Manning and Brady have to deal with now. Thus, it didn't take a rocket scientist to play QB 20 years ago it just took a great athlete.
Yeah that's it.....racism. You cracked the case Sherlock.

any NFL test where Jamarcus Russell can get within 4 points of Peyton is not racist
Point well made. However Manning's score is actually right on average, for whites, while Russell is high for blacks.
Consider this:
If I calculated correctly, considering all the data listed on the site this thread is referring to - the average Wonderlic for
black QBs is 17.8
white QBs is 28.4
Either the test is racist (is it?) or we have to violate some pretty well-established rules of political correctness, which we aren't really 'allowed' to violate, to explain this.
