Awesome. Figured he would continue to cheer for Tennessee despite the firing of Fulmer. Wasn't sure he'd be involved too much anymore though. So this is awesome.

Well to be fair he will be attending the dedication of the locker room that's named after him..

Meeting Peyton will be all that Tyler Bray needs to become a Volunteer! Welcome to Big Orange Country Mr. Bray.

Peyton is classy. He isn't going to stop being a fan of UT just because a coach got fired. He is a Vol fan for life.

Oh, I know. I just thought he may be less involved since his coach was fired.

I checked on one of the other boards this morning and could not find any other official visits this weekend but they are sometimes incorrect anyways. There maybe some unofficial visits though.

I wander if they did this on purpose. It seems smart to put the locker room dedication on the day of Kiffin's debut for two reasons. By Peyton being there it shows a united face of the players from the Fulmer era and now. Also, with Bray being there and a big fan of Peyton's, it could help the recruiting processes. I may be reaching but its just a thought, and the people at Tennessee right now do seem to be very calculating and think of even small details. Especially the coaching staff.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I was thinking that Peyton had given his approval of Kiffin during the hiring process...? So with that being the case, why wouldn't he continue to be as active as possible?

Has this not been resolved? We need to get to the bottom of this and see where he stands.

I read that CLK was going to have ex-players read General Neyland's Maxims before each game. Bet you this week is Peyton! :clapping:

Another big factor probably relates to this is the only game Peyton could make....no pro game this weekend; then he's kinda busy.

I don't follow recruiting much but the article said Bray only has two scholarship offers. Does that mean no other schools are interested in him?
