That network has done this the last week:


1. Peyton, Wayne, and Clarke are probably going to Dolphins. Washington is 2nd.

2. Peyton met with Elway and now Denver is favorite.

3. Peyton met with his old buddy Wisenhunt, and they were laughing and having a good time. Denver and Arizona in a dead heat for Manning.

4. Bud Adams really wants Peyton. Then they go on and act like TN has no shot.

5. Next day..... Peyton is really liking the Titans. Munchak and he are good friends (apparently they weren't in the previous days as this wasn't mentioned). Archie and Munch were teammates. Bud Adams is offering Peyton a lifetime contract. Titans lead.

6. Elway is visiting Peyton in Durham. Tone had it as Broncos were favorite. Then we find out he is working out for the Titans as well.

7. Now a couple hours later..... THERE IS A MYSTERY TEAM! Peyton worked out for the 49ers on Tuesday.

$60 million for 5 years? Shoot, ole Bud can dig around under his sofa cushions and find that kind of chump change laying around. We can beat that offer

I think they match what he was making for 3 years (18 mill) and add a couple of option years and then pile on the goodies like partial ownership, pancakes, etc.

Edit: Although, wonder what the Titans actual offer in $$ was for the lifetime deal?
