Peyton Manning NFL MVP

How about I'm tired of the Peyton fanboys. He's in the pros now. He last played for UT in 1997. The Colts are not UT, take 2.

he's still a large UT donor and ambassador to the program. How clueless can you really be?

Dude's a field general. Can you not understand that? And effing general of the field!

Manning's just some guy with a horseshoe on his helmet and some stud wide receivers. General Collins is the league's best player, narrowly over Dustin Colquitt and Chad Pennington.

:fool: WAKE UP PLEASE,,a punter for MVP,,,LMFAO

The same could be said about the Tee Martin fan boys. He's in the...high school camp circuit now. Nike camps are not UT.

yeah I was a little surprised but as a Titans fan I wanted Collins to win it.

The Titans were a totally different team this year with him at QB. He only had 2 bad games, the 1 against Houston and the Baltimore game but he conducted a last minute drive to win in Baltimore. He was amazing at Chicago.

The defense and the running game are the reasons Collins "won" all of those games. Voting for Collins as the MVP is about the same thing as when the Heisman voters gave it to Gino Torretta.

You'll see how much Collins is NOT the MVP when he has to win a game in the playoffs, and he can't do it. That "don't screw it up" approach the Titans used works in the regular season, but in the playoffs it gets you what it always got Marty Schottenheimer.

I wouldn't have voted Peyton Manning the Heisman in '97, but I would have voted for him for NFL MVP in 2008. If you insist on voting for a guy who stepped into a breach and surprised everyone with a great season, the line starts with Matt Cassel, not Kerry Collins.

Well deserved Peyton........................since Indy doesn't have much of ground game....Manning has had to carry the offense while everyone knows they are passing.

I heard this might happen a few days ago and am happy for Peyton. Obviously one of his most challenging seasons; rivaled only by the year of the Mora Meltdown, LOL!
