I just purchased this tonight. Peyton’s AFC Championship game worn jersey vs the Patriots on 1/24/2016. He threw his final NFL touchdown in this jersey....a 12 yard strike to Owen Daniels. Other than his Super Bowl jerseys, I consider this to be his most important NFL shirt. I hope you guys like the photos.

Maybe it's just me, but doesn't anyone else feel like it's weird for grown men to buy other grown men's worn clothing as soveniers, even if they are famous people? I'm not singling out the op, because alot of people do it, but it just seems creepy to me. JMO.

I don't think it werid. If he were buying random youth sports clothing then yeah but collections like the one doc has collected are considered to be an investment.

I will give you a 2006 Honda Accord with 171,246 miles on it.....with a full tank of gas and a fresh wash for it. I’m sure you cannot believe I would take a hit like that but I like to help people who might need a little money. My number is 615-444-4444.

I respect your opinion but I obviously disagree. Not only is this jersey a symbol of history, it's an incredible investment. As long as Peyton doesn't commit an OJ and do something awful, this jersey will be worth a lot of money in the future. It's an investment that has virtually no chance of losing value. It's an appreciating asset...and that's the key.

It would be weird to buy another man's boxer shorts, for sure. This thread is about the collection of sports paraphernalia which is a thriving business.

Doc,

What are some things you don’t have that cost more than you can commit to or you simply can’t have?
