Not that 18 million isn't enough..but what a contrast to most athletes today who will hold out and hurt their team to be the highest paid or just make a little more. I know they have short careers but the Mannings have always been a breath of fresh air.

That is a nice sentiment but of course he does also make a lot more than Brady in endorsements as well...Not a thing wrong with making as much money as possible within the law.

I seem to dimly recall that when Pey was with the Colts, he voluntarily took a pay cut. I don't recall the exact circumstances but think it had to do with making room for the salary cap so they could bring in a key player.
Heck of a guy!

I believe he voluntarily took the pay cut so the Colts could re sign Marvin Harrison and stay under the salary cap.
