I hate when people refer to Alabama as salami or alisalami or whatever. Bama is fine, but that lunch meat stuff is STUPID. Sorry. Had to get that off my chest:peace2:

You're probably mad at me for chanting "Purple Vandy" at the Outback Bowl.

Per Hubbs

Of course, Peyton Manning spoke to the team and posed for some pictures on Monday. Manning also spoke just to the captains. One of his messages was about pressure and how you only feel pressure when you aren't prepared. There was plenty of talk about the little things and how the small details are the difference in winning and meeting expectations; expectations the Vols are fully aware of and haven't backed away from.

Those expectations have been good for business. We told you about the impact of Nike and the merchandise sales numbers. Part of that obviously stems from the expectations surrounding this team.

Those expectations are helping in ticket sales as well. Season ticket sales are over 68,000 at this point and all premium seating has been sold. It's the most tickets sold since 2009 when just over 69,000 were sold. There's obviously time for more sales this summer. This year marks the third straight year of growth in season ticket sales after a five year slide earlier this decade at one point where season ticket sales were around 55,000.
