The postmaster general says your draft notice must have gotten lost in the mail.
He's sending out a new one.

I was an 80's kid so I missed the draft, but I did have to do selective service registration so I guess that's the closest I got. I dont think these kids even have to do that anymore. Just play video games, mooch off their parents, and cry foul whenever they're offended. (I know there are good kids.....I'm saying as a generalization).............hope this post hasnt triggered anyone.

It's A GOVERNMENT Operation; therefore in-efficient and a few Billion Dollars in the red. BTW, people are always poking fun at Peyton; I get it. It's hard to find Real Flaws in OUR Favorite Son.

They just lose money, because their job is to deliver mail at a huge discount as a public service. It’s not a private business which, like mine, exists to make money.

Also, we get clients who insist on paying by check instead of EFT all the time. Don’t ask me why. I’m super thankful to the USPS that they drop those in our mailbox.

*IF* the new vehicles are more efficient, reliable, save fuel, and have less annual repairs, then they should have a 2-3 year ROI. One of my clients bought a fedex route and his old trucks were killing his business until he wrote the check to get some new equipment. Most of the time it's false, but sometimes you really do have to spend money to make money.

The USPS has never been broke and makes HUGE amounts of revenue every year. What Congress doesn't want you to know is they raid USPS's revenue every year to prop up social security. They draw so much out it appears the Postal Service can't pull their own weight but they are pulling the weight of give away government programs.

Social Security is not a "give away" program. I paid into it for over 50 years and will likely not get back all I paid in.
