They could have hired him on the cheap when they hired CBJ but no. Taking the moral high ground over a proven winning coach was more important. He hired his mistress and lied about the motorcycle accident. It's not like he was recruiting for isis we screwed up and lost him then. You heard it hear first. Just wanted to get it out there so I can have insider status if it happens

Yes he screwed up but we are not looking for a paster to coach our vols. We have money and resources to get him but Tennessee is too cheap. Let Haslam, Ergen and Peyton help out with the bill.
Anybody who actually believes CBJ will be fired any time soon is delusional. We have no money for a buyout. The only way he leaves this University in the next 3 years is by his own resignation. UT is stuck with "we're bowl eligible" being good enough for the foreseeable future. CBJ will win just enough football games to save his job for the next couple of seasons IMO. He's a used car salesman with a headset. I would love to see a coach brought in that could develop talent and design a scheme around players instead of trying to make the players adapt to the scheme but it's not an option with this staff. UT will suffer in mediocrity for a few more years. #Art_Briles_to_the_hill!
I obviously don't agree with you. Butch will get it done. Btw I wouldn't want a very elderly coach that covered for rapists just to win football games.
