Petrino to the Volz

Why would he come to UT? He has Louisville headed in the right direction and he has a pimp QB. UT might have a shot at Lea Miles but that's about it.

At this point I don't understand why anybody would object to Petrino. Its never happening and I understand that, but there's no disputing the man is a miracle worker. Save the sermons please.

I'd take Pat Narduzzi and hire a good OC. Thought about it for a good minute and that's a realistic answer I came up with.

you think that is all that is involved with petrino? cheating on his wife? really?

I would never support ut in any way if they hired petrino..he is a horrible human being. Period.

And that's why Tom Jurich is the best AD in the country and you're a guy on a message board.

Why exactly?

Because he's proven to be a complete ass, disloyal and a quitter.... and that was before he crashed his motorcycle while brilliantly not wearing a helmet with his mistress on the back.

Yes he screwed up but we are not looking for a paster to coach our vols. We have money and resources to get him but Tennessee is too cheap. Let Haslam, Ergen and Peyton help out with the bill.

You heard it hear first. Just wanted to get it out there so I can have insider status if it happens
They could have hired him on the cheap when they hired CBJ but no. Taking the moral high ground over a proven winning coach was more important. He hired his mistress and lied about the motorcycle accident. It's not like he was recruiting for isis we screwed up and lost him then.

Lol @ "Moral high ground". Cheating on his wife is just one of his issues. The list of people he's led to and ben disloyal to is a mile long and well documented.

Sorry, no way. We would rather scour the small college circuit as we normally do and spend a minimum amount of dough on an experiment. We will go on the cheap, rinse, and repeat every 4 or 5 years.

They charge what they charge for tickets and then say they can't afford anything better than bottom feeder directional school coaches like Dooley and Jones? Man, UT is more corrupt than the federal government if they say they don't have the money.

Anybody who actually believes CBJ will be fired any time soon is delusional. We have no money for a buyout. The only way he leaves this University in the next 3 years is by his own resignation. UT is stuck with "we're bowl eligible" being good enough for the foreseeable future. CBJ will win just enough football games to save his job for the next couple of seasons IMO. He's a used car salesman with a headset. I would love to see a coach brought in that could develop talent and design a scheme around players instead of trying to make the players adapt to the scheme but it's not an option with this staff. UT will suffer in mediocrity for a few more years. #Art_Briles_to_the_hill!

I obviously don't agree with you. Butch will get it done. Btw I wouldn't want a very elderly coach that covered for rapists just to win football games.

That's fine, but while everyone is acting so high and mighty and talking about how they would stop supporting the program if Briles were hired.....Don't forget that UT just paid out MILLIONS of dollars to have several women "keep their mouths shut"! I wonder what they had to say? I guess the administration made sure we would never know.
