Petrino to the Volz

Just no. I want a coach who can look players in the eye and give them hell when they screw up off the field. Petrino is not that coach.
Bring a winner doesn't make a person decent.

Anybody who actually believes CBJ will be fired any time soon is delusional. We have no money for a buyout. The only way he leaves this University in the next 3 years is by his own resignation. UT is stuck with "we're bowl eligible" being good enough for the foreseeable future. CBJ will win just enough football games to save his job for the next couple of seasons IMO. He's a used car salesman with a headset. I would love to see a coach brought in that could develop talent and design a scheme around players instead of trying to make the players adapt to the scheme but it's not an option with this staff. UT will suffer in mediocrity for a few more years. #Art_Briles_to_the_hill!

106 million for renovations that aren't a necessity.... We have plenty of money to make a change... Boosters are weak in the knees.

Guys, forget this. It's really gonna be Gruden this time. My neighbor is a realtor and took a call from his wife today about looking at houses.

If Tennessee ever hired Petrino, I'd suspend my gifts to the university for the duration of his tenure, and I'm not alone in this sentiment.

Herman can actually coach.

Remember what he did with Ohio State and Cordale Jones?

Beat an OU team thats probably going to win the Big 12. And spanked FSU last year.

Dobbs needed a guy like Tom Herman.

Shame on Butch for not having the sense to hire a QB coach!!!

Tom would have us in Atlanta every year.

But don't worry Vols... we won't actually spend money for a good coach. All Butch really had to do was hire a good OC.

Good night everyone...

My problem with this staff is offesnse has been a wreck for 95 percent of the yearon so many levels we have regressed. The wins are there simply due to talent.

But not as a top 10 team

Neither were they. They were down to 18th, but the high rankings were based on the Oklahoma victory...which I credit more to his coaching up a BOUGHT IN team. No doubt his team knows he's leaving and have responded like kids sometimes do.

They were actually #11. Bama wasn't even close to that

Bama also played a legit schedule. Houston is an AAC team with ONE 5 star. That Bama team beat a top 10 ranked Tennessee team, I hate to remind you. Houston is playing back to their talent level...which isn't SEC quality.
