Go to knoxnews.com and check out the headline story on the conduct of our esteemed university president's wife. Every trustee that signed off on bringing that clown and his wife to Knoxville should be forced to resign immediately. We can only hope the BOT have muted any input Petersen might have wanted to have in the coaching search.

Mike Hamilton is the only person at UT in an executive position actually doing his job.

What has Hamilton done to deserve to be fired?
only questionable move thus far was trying to pretend that the ridiculous contract he gave Fulmer was somehow market driven.

Market driven implies demand out there. That demand did not, does not and will not exist.

I'm sure a few boosters had a hand in that one. They sure didn't block it from going thru.

Hamilton has been able to conduct renovations or build completely brand new facilities on every single sports facility. Be thankful for what he has done. He has been a businessman, and done it well.

Add Hamilton to the mix and that will complete the trifecta!

I agree with those who have said that you have worn this board out with your repeated calling for MH's head. MH didn't hire CPF. Do you have any reason for wanting MH gone besides the contract extension? That extension does not erase all of his good decisions (facilities improvements, coaching hires, firing CPF).

Could you please either provide an argument or let the matter drop? We get the point - you don't like MH.

Nice to see that our assclown president has the sort of woman he deserves. On the bright side, this is the kind of gossipy, personal story that has a way of exploding against a college administrator. Let's hope so.

Wasn't Wade Gilley forced out because he slept with one of his employees?

"Too knoxville-centric..." the way you hear the Petersens talk about our flagship school, UT-Knoxville isn't located in Knoxville at all. I mean, why would donors who live in Knoxville and support UTk want to focus their efforts here? They ought to be ashamed they don't have more concern for UT-Memphis!

As a student at UT-Memphis I can assure there isn't a person in this world that has any concern for it.

Heh, but imagine if you've made your millions and someone says "Hey! Don't donate to UT-Memphis...UT-MARTIN needs your money! Stop being so Memphis-centric!"

Let's not worry about the UT system at all...UT should begin to funnel money towards Brigham Young. We're being too Tennessee-centric.

It's becoming readily apparent what Petersen's agenda is. He saw a carpetbagging, pompous jackass from the north become governor. Thus, he figured it was a good chance to come south and use UT as a stepping stone.

I only hope our new Chancellor doesn't turn out half as bad.

You know, for all the bad stuff, I'd rather have our last president...I'd rather him shave a little off the top than take it all away to spread it around.
