although i agree that this recruiting class isnt #1 in the country...it's hard to gripe and complain about it until these kids actually get on the field and compete.I dont think Dooley has done everything right, but let's just give this another year and we'll have our answer....if this team doesn't win 8 games next year,we'll be looking to rebuild again unfortunately....

i just can't and won't believe someone would rather go to arkansas over tennessee you tell me when the last time arkansas won a national title don't worry i will wait. otha peters come to tennessee and if you give your all you will have better experiance and chance to make it to the bigs. I promise just ask all the vols in the nfl.we are a top 10 school no kid should ever pick a school cause of a coach they come and go you pick schools on what they offer tradition facilities and 100 thousand fans screaming your name.

Thanks. I was hoping we weren't counting it as only 2.:hi:

Ready to get this over... and I understand it takes time. Would really like to accelerate the process, but it is what it is.

It's been 4 years. In the last 4 years we are 23-27 and if we had not of hired Kiffin it wouldn't have taken this long. When somebody comes in and runs off 15 players and then leaves 2 weeks before signing day really set us back. The one thing that really makes the process hard is the fact that Dooley had to rebuild everything while trying to play a SEC schedule.

I hate to even mention this, but it seems that UT's decline, although it sort of started in the middle of the decade, really started about the same time the economy went in the crapper. Is this just me or is that about right? Damn, I hope this economy gets turned around quick. For two good reasons.GBO.:hi:

I want solid players who WANT to come to Tennessee not players who's mommy made them go. Peters either wants to wear ORANGE or he doesn't.

Funny how the coach of Q. Watson preaches the fact that a commitment is a man's word and that he shouldn't give it unless he's willing to see it through. Whereas this coach seems like he's behind his player bailing on his...even encouraging him to do so at the last second.

Can a recruits highschool coach get paid?

The hand writing was clearly on the way when Clemson embarrassed us in ATL... but some of the same people that are posting right now were in denial.

Kiffin is the only coach in the last 4 years to finish the season over .500

If Petrino was negative recruiting..."Dooley is on the hotseat blah blah blah". Fight FIRE WITH FIRE!!! Tell him Petrino might be a COWARD and leave in the middle of the night and be to much of POON to address the team as MEN!!! Like he did when he left the NFL...BOOM

UT's decline started when we lost the 2001 SECCG game to LSU.

When grown men take a day off work to watch a bunch of 17-18 year olds pick a college, something is wrong.

You must not be from around here.... Football isn't a sport, it's a religion.

Dang I hope we get Peters signature....
