i would love to see peterman get a red shirt so we have him another season does anyone know if peterman will get the RS or not.

Nothing set in stone, but coaches were talking earlier in spring practice of putting together a package of 10 to 15 plays a game for him

dang thats very dissapointing i want the kid to succeed and all and I'm very happy for him but the selfish fan in me wants to save him for later.

I can see it two ways as a selfish fan. One is the way you pointed out. The other is if having a dual threat QB in the game for a few plays each game can get us a couple of wins that we would not have gotten anyway then I am all for it. I'm sure that is what the coaching staff is trying to figure out

I'm with ya. Let's see what he can do! We can always get more qb's!

If he is as good as people say he is, giving him a redshirt year will only decrease the number of years he will play at UT. Not saying he is good enough to go pro. Just stating that if he is then giving him a redshirt would be pointless since he would be gone anyways.
