Couple things:
1) is the Knoxville media that bad that they’re not the ones who broke this? Makes you wonder if we can afford to listen to them anymore.
2) why Phil too? Not saying I’m against that move, but is it because Pruitt is his guy or could it possibly be that Phil is caught up in this as well?
3) what’s next? Sorry, but I wanted Pruitt gone but if the move is to make Steele interim and then eventual HC, then I don’t think this is the smartest move and I’ll be gravely disappointed we fired Pruitt only to hire another loser.

As soon as Steele was hired, I assumed he would be our next coach. I hope I’m wrong!

I think the Fulmer info is the part that should be watched. If he stays not much will change other than the coach. Fulmer was a great coach for us but he still can't stand not having his hands on the program because he thinks he was done wrong when in reality he got too comfortable in his job and got lazy....then he got gone.

I really am having a hard time caring. It's got to that point, unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, I'm very interested in how they move forward and am ready to get behind someone else but... like I just don't care that much any more. Maybe because I'm getting used to a coach being fired?

I feel exactly the same way. Our Admin has just about blown every opportunity to improve and we deserve better. I can’t support mediocrity due to ineptness. I really stopped watching football and gave up season passes after 2016.
