Pete Thamel reporting that Pruitt will not be retained as TN HC

Pruitt may not be a great head coach but it seems he had his players loyalty. I truly believe he loves the players. This may or may not be a good thing depending on what they try to pull as a replacement. If we get a proven winner then maybe we're better off but if we go the up and comer or the Google coach we might as well kept him for another year. Hopefully we finally open the bank account and pay someone for goodness sakes.

Lol...and "AD Phil Fulmer's future will also be addressed"...

If they install him as the head coach with Steele as his DC, then we can go ahead and board up Neyland.

BV, you're as salty as they come., and I love that about you, but surely you don't think "they" would do such a thing.

If "they" did. CPF must have voodoo powers beyond understanding.

What? Impossible! I was told by numerous “insiders” on this forum that Pruitt was definitely coming back in 2021 whether we liked it or not and that we were delusional for believing otherwise!

I think a large portion of our fan base is delusional either way...:)

If true, I honestly have no bad feelings toward Coach P. I believe he did his best and was way over his head for a first time HC gig. The guy had no HC experience and was built up because of Bama’s success. The defense at Bama is clearly due to Savanna, not the coordinators. Additionally, some guys are best served as coordinators and not as HC.

If "they" did. CPF must have voodoo powered beyond understaning.

We will never get a quality HC again if they attempt a 'palace coup' like that.
