Have you ever seen Majors out in public or heard him speak in a public meeting. He's bat crap crazy and probably thinks the Russians were involved in getting him fired too.

Too many people are on this board who remember what really happened. Majors cut his own throat in that deal.

I think Currie probably needed to see what happened vs. SCar. Now knowing that and what lies ahead, he doesn't see a path for a winning season (probable losses to Bama, KY, LSU). Prior to the USCe game, I believe he already had his short list of coaches ready. I think this loss prompted him, if he hasn't already, to start reaching out to agents and coaches to guage interest. I still think he waits to see what goes down at KY and then makes it known CBJ will be let go at the end of the season. I think by that time he will probably have a good idea who his top three candidates are and what their interest may be. Most of the candidates will need to get to the end of the season before UT can make an announcement. No use getting wrapped around the axle over CBJ not being fired yet. It's coming. If we lose a few recruits, it's just the nature of making a change like this. But, if it's a home run hire, the recruiting class will be back in shape quickly.

All this talk about Currie needed to see this or that. Butch is 2-2 against Vandy and now 0-3 in the SEC what else is necessary to see or understand ?

Possibly. I know a lot of the kids won’t quit, but there’s a big psychological component to being on a 3 game slide, being 0 for in the SEC and getting humiliated by Bama again to go along with the beat down UGA put on us. I think it will be very difficult for this team to go into Lexington and win. The offense can do little to nothing now and I think Jones is struggling to keep the locker room if he hasn’t lost most of it already. I guess word could come as early as next Sunday after the Bama game.
