I just don't have the urge to correct spelling and grammar for people. Besides, there are prominent posters on here who always start sentences in lower case and/or don't use periods yet no one says anything. Its honestly understandable to correct someone when you're in a conversation with them and they keep misspelling the name, but I think 90% of the time folks just disagree with the points of the posts and are just nitpicking. Or they just enjoy giving people a hard time.

This is stupid man. Who cares???? We all know who they are talking about, if the spell it Kiffin, Kiffen, Keffin, Keffen. We know who they mean, this is just being too picky man. I know sometimes little things get to me too. But c'mon, dont be hating on folks spelling.
Everyone should just call him CLK or Knox's dad. lol.

Dont take this serious man.

It's dishonor. It's looking at a guy, knowing how to spell his name correctly, and blatantly spelling it wrong. That matters.

It gets on my nerves as well. After what a few weeks on here, we need to know how to spell his name, but i like the CLK or Knox's dad! HA HA

This is a message board. Some people dont know how to spell or type too fast. It doesnt matter. People misspell my name all the time, I dont care. I know who they are talking about.

That's correct. It's a public forum. What happens in a public forum when incorrect spelling occurs? Your point is discredited. Why should we think your point matters when you can't even take the time to learn to spell a name correctly?

Couldn't agree with you more, Crusse10. It's an indication of disrespect not to spell the man's name correctly. But, it could be really ugly if we had Duke's basketball coach. :scare:

I really dont think CLK minds that some folks misspell his name man. Dishonor??? Yeah right!! There are bigger things to worry about than Kiffin's last name getting spelled correctly.

I do agree though. Spelling someone's name wrong is much different than a simple spelling or grammatical error. If you don't have enough respect for someone to make sure you are spelling their name right, then why are you posting about them?
