Perspective from the enemy GAME 2

The only negative things about the defense I've noticed is that they still tend to over pursue and still try to arm tackle instead of wrapping up in the open field.

There were a couple early in the game, but most of the other times this happened, seemed to be fatigue after being out there blitzing series after series. In the end we led the time of possession, but in the middle of the game the defense was on the field for a lot of series back to back. It takes it's toll.

Plus, Monty will surely see the game film and rectify the tackling problems quickly.

i can't really disagree with anything you said, either. i would've liked to see the freshmen wr's play a little more, given the obvious lack of continuity between 8, 4, and 6. i dunno how much difference it would've made, given 8's horrible play, but none of them seemed as if they were on the same page, especially in key moments late in the game. Fair, honest assessment and thanks for not Jabbing at us. we will get better, just probably not by leaps and bounds this year.

Would you find a different home? I know your boards are boring, but please stop creating 20 threads per week here.

Quinton Hancock is Tennessee's most polished WR right now, but he doesn't have great speed for separation. Solid possession receiver though.

GJones and DMoore are both better receivers.

I tend to agree, but they sure didn't show it yesterday. Hopefully they can get their timing and routes straightened out with Cromp this week.
