Tabor would be excellent. Of course, he goes to school with D'Andre Payne too, so I would love to have them both!

Elam over mosely or Poona? Did. Not. Vote. One DT? We can't win with a bunch of 180 lb guys who run 4.3 if there is no one there to block or stop the run. Recruiting to me is about defense first and foremost. Tackles being the priority. You don't need to score a whole lot when you have a great defense. Hell, a kicker can win the game most days.

Voted for Bates, but it's a take on all of them plus Bars - especially Bars. Stud O-linemen make football teams. Controlling the ball on offense dominates the clock and field position. You move the sticks and keep the D off the field with great O-lineman.

Great LB's slam the door shut on the opponents' run game, clean up others' mistakes and give you more 3 and outs. They allow you to play more zone in the secondary by having good coverage underneath with the occasional sack on the blitz. That's what a Bates brings.

I helped bigMass come up with this poll, you can only list 10 options on the polls here. Obviously there are prospects missing, that's why there's the "Other" option :hi:

The Killer Bs, Mosley is a big need. Truitt.
And my personal faves of DBs: Tabor, Payne and Gaulden. Glass is a monster but I sense UGA is most likely.
Would like Emmanuel Smith too.

Other implies they are not important enough to be included in a top ten. At the same time, you have 2 players as one selection. No biggie. The ol and dl are, to me, the nucleus of any good team. We have an exodus in both areas after this year. We didn't load up on either position this last recruiting cycle . That's not to say I'm not worried about lb and improving our speed in the secondary either.

I love getting good skill players, but we've gotten our share of those lately (minus RB).. NEED linemen imo. Williams, Elam and Bates.

Cool. What happens when he leaves?

If we were ever in a position to miss on a top 10 type QB, it's this year. With both Dobbs and Ferguson both in the last class, QB is not near the priority that DL/LB/DB/OL is. I would not be shocked at all if alot of the top QBs for this class look elsewhere. IMO, we have ALOT more to worry about than who will be the QB when Ferg/Dobbs leaves in 2017-18.

QB is the most important position on the field. You never know how they are going to pan out. You take the best you can possibly get every year.
