Listening to Basilio's show from this morning, and apparently Volfan X has told him that at least 8 players have been put on notice that their next mistake will be their last mistake in Knoxville. Also was reported on the show that a player came by to talk to him and before he could finish his first sentence, he was told to go get a haircut. Also speculation of a mass exodus as Lane gets the trash out and gets his players in this spring.

is it longer than what it was in his recruiting pictures? Kinda harsh to make a kid get a haircut isn't it? What about all the players with dreadlocks?

About time someone stood up to some of the thug wannabe players on this team. Get your act together or leave..I like it

My God! I thought harrassment over long hair went out in the 70's.

If a guy is doing his job (100% effort on the field), keeping his nose clean, and keeping up his grades. What the hell does the length of his hair have to do with anything?

I don't see the Steelers threatening to cut this guy. Did CLK have a problem with this guy's hair at USC?

Kind of like Cut telling Ainge to get the cute highlights out of his hair and the diamond studs.

There is a difference between being proud of your heritage and looking like a bum.

It is the military mindset. Uniformity, everybody looks and does things the same way.
Works out pretty good for them.
It is a statement.

It's all about perception. We have had a "blackeye" for some time (Fulmer Cup) when it comes to discipline.

this could be seen as CLK "cleaning up" the program. I don't see a problem with CLK telling his players that.

Bottom line is, if Coach wants it cut, you better cut it. We don't even know Pope is who he was talking to, I just said I would bet he is.
