Per the Sports Animal, Janzen Jackson went home (for personal reasons)

Situations like this just show how truly crazy us fans are. CDD said he would be back from day 1, yet tons of "experts" and "insiders" were harping that JJ wouldnt play for us again. It exposes a LOT of these so-called's as nothing more than internet wanna-be's that guess like the rest of us. Glad JJ is back and hopefully everything is ok with him and his family.

Asked Will West today, said that He is 50/50 about playing in the bowl game.

and is not at risk of being kicked off the team

but has heard that he is in some kind of trouble, but it is being handled internally.

he said that their 3 people at their station has all heard different stories from people within the university?

Any of us could have guessed this BS from Will West. Way to go out on a limb there, Will.

I'm a VOL fan.

I repeat, i am a VOL fan.

I really want JJ on MY team.

Unfortunately its not ALL about me.

I wish him the best and I HOPE it involves my vols.

I do pray the best for JJ and his family.

Hyams just said on the radio that a fire alarm went off in Janzens room and some drug parphenalia was found before he left and that even though they said he was going home to see his family, his dad is coaching Miami Ohio and his mother lives in California, not Lousiana... TIFWIW

Did the other JJ thread get pulled for MODificatons? Between the open letter and that link not working I figured I missed something.

Grandma, grandpa, etc. Or maybe mentioning Loisiana was a way to throw the media off so as to give him the aforementioned privacy. Don't know anything, just speculating.

He stated the same thing on 104.5 The Zone today (2/30). He also stated this is his 3rd drug related offence and should not be allowed to play in the bowl game. When asked if he was a 3rd stringer would he still be on the team Hyams replied "No".

Why are so many in TN just hateful people? So quick to cast stones and pass judgment on these kids, administrators, and the like. You guys act like you're deserving of the world. I never got this feeling growing up with Vols fans, but the more I read and see, the more I find Vols fans to be fickle, self-entitled little children.

Sorry to break the news to ya, ... it's Americans in general. Still, you gotta love the passion for the game, even if it is misguided at times.

Either way,

GO VOLS!

I'm standing too because my blood runs bright orange.

On a side note...My Doctors still don't know what to make of me with bright orange blood running through my body and I refuse constantly to let them run any tests.

VFL...GO BIG ORANGE!!!

So why did Askew get booted? Why are we as VFL's not "Standing up for him"...Where was you when we booted Darren Myles jr?
