If Nico is looking for market value then he better already have something lined up. Because his performance has not proven to be worth what he has been paid.Yes, but Nico isn’t and wasn’t the only one asking for and getting more money than they originally agreed to. If you start negotiating contracts, this is going to happen.
I’m happy that Heup didn’t capitulate to Nico’s demands but there was always going to be a renegotiation of his contract whether we like it or not. And, Nico was going get what other Qb’s were getting. You may not like the “market value” but that’s what it is.
