I hear ya. Tennessee went to bat for the kid and he does this…it’s disappointing but this isn’t the end of the story. Then I shall bash him for you. He Bit the hand that made his whole multi million deal possible. Tennessee broke new ground in NIL scope to get the kid. „Thank you“ would have been nice
1. We were going to lose the players that we were going to lose prior to this incident. Nico will not affect departures. If they are leaving then they made a reality check prior to this or will make one after.1. I'm pretty sure he isn't the only player we are going to lose over this.
2. while there may be potentially capable guys in reserve they are extremely young and unproven
3. The shakeup at OL from last year to this year was already going to be a hurdle to overcome. we needed a QB with experience.
I'm not saying Tennessee is going to lose 10 games this year, but I'm definitely saying they aren't going to win 10 games. it's going to be a bumpy ride again just like a couple years ago.
I am about sick of collegiate football. bout ready to boycott it like I did for the NFL years back. If it wasn't for Hendon, Joe, Josh,m Cedric, Bru and others like them I would have abandoned them years ago. The love of money is the root of all evil. You should put NIL money in an irrevocable trust that you only access after 3 years of play with a team!Again, it makes me appreciate the leadership of Hendon and Joe Milton when they were here.
Not sure where they live but did somebody send a moving truck 2 men and a truck to their home?Embarrassing that so many idiot fans cussed out Nakos on Twitter out of loyalty to some guy they don't know, because they believed his Daddy. It's not like Daddy has proven himself to be a liar and not too bright.
Good point. If you are willing to pay a player that was no better than the average SEC QB last year 4 Million a year: than you have the correct name. Not only what he wants, but the timing of it, just before the spring game. Not to mention, that his reps during spring practice are wasted on a QB that won't be here. I'll put that right up there with the Kiffin screw job! SAD!!!!!![]()
Yep. Anyone that wants to hit the portal because Nico was dismissed is free to do so. Those folks would show that they aren't here for the right reasons and I won't sweat their departure.1. We were going to lose the players that we were going to lose prior to this incident. Nico will not affect departures. If they are leaving then they made a reality check prior to this or will make one after.
2. We already have an individual other than NICO in the portal. A WR that evidently knows he will not see playing time at Tennessee in the future.
3. The hurdle with the OL has been a problem and always will be until we focus on it in its entirety, again Nico's departure has no affect on it. I will give you this, the QBs stepping up maybe or may not be affected by this. Completely different skill set.
Speculation is great and it can be spun based on opinion. At this point we have no clue, what we know for sure is that NICO is gone and $$$$ are available.
