kids can be happy anywhere. I'm sure he will be equally happy at USC or wherever he goes. these kids at the elite level have no loyalty to any one place. they are all just opportunities.

I think he'd be a long shot to end up at Oregon, we've got a pretty talented QB room right now. My guess is that if he heads back west, it will be USC.

So we lost a california girly man with earrings and braided hair who was only an average QB. Why don't we look at character first next time. If we land a big time transfer QB will you question his character as well? From all accounts Nico was studious, respectful and and a great teammate. Maybe he wants happy how he was developing under Heupel? He doesn't want to be here and most of us don't want him here so why disparage him.

Until it is fixed, College Football is about being the highest bidder. It is what it is. It stinks it got this amd I see no reason to rejoice about letting Nico go. We invested 2 years into him. This upcoming season was supposed to be the year we actually reaped the benefit from it. But here we are now with two unproven and inexperienced freshman QBs. I imagine a few other offensive players hit the portal also as a result of this. And this amidst the offense already having taken a step back the last 2 years. Not good..

Lot of people get angry over that nonsense, but don't understand all the hard work and development of new ideas that make real bank to earn those 4 and 5's on performance reviews.

Don't care how good you are or think you are. NO college player deserves to make that kind of money, and you are a fool if you pay it. Seems like they are trying to set themselves up financial for life before they even get out of college, and maybe even their families too. When I think of all the effort TN did for this kid. What a stab in the back for the other players and coaches! I thought Heupel was your friend, Thank GOD hes wasn't your enemy.
