I can't help but think everything happens for a reason. I'd love nothing better than for this event to help both Rogers (personally) and Tennessee (competitively) kick it into gear. The team appears to be responding well. We'll know Friday night.

to the people talking bad about Da'Rick how are yall gonna feel if hes just on a 2 to 3 game suspension? they never said he was dismissed CDD said "i dont EXPECT him back this season" thats telling me its above his authority DR could get just a few games suspension. but i guess we wont know anything until Sunday im guessing. Go Vols! 6 more days!!

This has no bearing on anything, but I'll take Rucker and Tennessee Sports Radio over the Sports Animal any day...and three times on Sunday.

Eric Ainge, Chris Treece, and Jayson Swain actually know something about football, and actually teach it. If you want some hard-core football, listen in. If you want jibberish, listen to Jimmy, Wilkerson, Adams, and the rest of those drones.

I bet DR plays in the Florida game....any takers? If any of these rumors were true the staff/school would have already announced DR's dismissal. Dragging the issue out doesnt benefit the team or school. DR is Dooley's crown jewel. Dooley is most likely behind the scenes fighting to save DR.

This is very close to what I heard. The longer he's on campus the better the chances are. Florida is the target.
