Per Locked on UCLA. Team Nico back shopping

Miami or TT aren’t going to take him imo. TT has a talented young QB already there. Miami can get better in the transfer portal. Nico will go where his daddy tells him to just like he always has; it likely will be a worse situation for him than UCLA is bc there he is the guaranteed starter.
Wonder if Nico gets to pick his own girlfriend and/or wife.....

Nico does suck. I have been admitting that lol. Beck is just a little less sucky. I really don’t know how hard that is to comprehend. However you need to twist these words into your brain, but whatever it is I feel like you are just trying to argue for no reason. The majority of Volnation knows Nico sucks and I think the majority of objective football fans think Beck is not much better.
I would not agree Beck sucks. Most successful QB's are a product of hte talent around them. Nico is a good subject. Sucked at UT. Sucks way more at UCLA. Beck is a very good QB. Becks issue at UGA last year was mental and lockerroom. He got too self-serving. Driving his hyper car to the stadium and not with team. Having said car dlevered to Austin to drive to their stadium instead of with team. Kirby didn't curb his antics. He recovered some toward end of season, when it counted on the field. Even if he wanted to do his last year at UGA, he effectively worked his way out of that job with his teammates. But, when he is screwed on straight, he's as good as there is in college right now. And Miami likely serves his me first personality better. He can have his cake and eat it down there.

He’s just an average D-1 starting QB. The one good defense he played against last week he looked extremely pedestrian.
You play 12 game regular seasons, and that happens. I'm not a Beck fan. He has team player issues. But, he wins even when he's off. And when he's on, he's as good as any in college. He's just too self serving and erratic for my tastes. But even as volatile as he is, he wins.

It ain't like he failed at UGA both seasons. Mental issues, sure. Lackluster games at times. Sure. But...2 year starter. 24-3 record. 1 SEC title. 7900 yards. 58 td/20 INT. Not bad for a SEC QB with head troubles and team player issues. He could have been a true legend, but he had trouble managing his ego. I don't think he will ever be THAT guy cause of his runaway ego thing, but he does deliver to the bottom line.

If you think 17/30 for 160 yards with zero TD and 1 pick is anything but average then idk what to tell you. For a guy getting $4M or whatever it is he should be throwing 250 and a TD minimum each and every game. Even that’s too low expectations vs how much he gets paid.

You think even top QBs don’t have sub par games? No matter what they get paid?Pros don’t even do it week in and week out for $30 mil a year. Don’t know what to tell you. What I can tell you is he hasn’t lost yet this year. And by seasons end it likely won’t be more than two games. And when and if Miami does lose it may not even be in him. Dudes a basket case upstairs. But he only lost 3 games at UGA and he’s winning at Miami

Brother, NFL is a completely different level of football. Literally the best of the best. You know what else can happen in the pros whenever you don’t perform? Trades and cuts. If you are an average COLLEGE QB then yes your subpar game in today’s game should at least be in the 200s

Yeah but then again seeing some of the QBs still playing makes me question that. Justin Fields is sucking for his 3rd franchise now.

He was injured for one game and has a 100.1 Passer Rating with a 56.9 QBR. A 50 QBR is considered average in the NFL. So not quite sucking. Just average. And if you want to compare college stats, it’s not even a discussion between Fields and Beck lol

Through the first month of the season, UCLA is averaging 14.2 points per game— a mark that ranks 132nd out of 134 FBS teams. Iamaleava has completed 81-of-124 passes for 788 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions.

Compare that to Tennessee, who is averaging 51 points per game through the first month of the season— a mark that ranks third nationally. Quarterback Joey Aguilar has completed 102-of-157 passes for 1,459 yards, 13 touchdowns and

Saban's GameDay pick UCLA over Northwestern

While making the pick, Saban made a hilarious quip in a ‘heart-to-heart’ with Iamaleava.

“I’m taking UCLA,” Saban said. “I’m gonna have a heart-to-heart with Nico right here. I never rooted for you the whole time you were at Tennessee. But I love your ass right now.”

Just saw this! The brakes are falling off this thing and UCLA. I didn't know they have already fired the D-coordinator also. I don't know much about him, but Sunseri was sought after and named in several searches after his success at Indiana and JM. I can't believe they would let him go after just 4 games. There must be some serious internal strife going on over there. I didn't think it was possible, but this thing may actually get worse! I see some blowout losses in their future.
