Per Hubbs on Buddy Green...

The guy may not be a big splash but has experience and we could do a lot worse. Sunseri is more of a big splash hire than an experienced DC, so he is no automatic success either.

Worst kind of PR-- to say or insinuate that someone has been offered, but not accepted. That opens the door to rampant negative speculation. Swell.

If we're looking to hire a guy named Buddy, just drag Buddy Ryan's old bones out of retirement.

If he turns it down, obviously that just shows we have bigger fish on the line right? Kind of a excuse that works for the recruiting side of things. Maybe we can use it here as well. If Buddy says No, and CLT says he is happy where he is, I can see George Quarles getting the call. Maybe we can post an ad on craigslist. Happy times ahead!!

Where did Narduzzi come from??? I know ur a mich st fan but did I miss where he was mentioned or even interviewed? Just wondering...

Hubbs has mentioned his name several times saying that he is interested. Supposedly his wife is not fond of living in East Lansing.

One other possible name that has been mentioned by several sources is Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi. Narduzzi, who made $240,000 last season as the Spartans defensive leader, recently turned down the defensive coordinator job at Texas A&M. Sources told Volquest.com Wednesday night that Dooley and Narduzzi have spoken sometime in the last week.

He posted that last night.

Any mention of Sunseri or that Green as position coach was in play?
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Hubbs said this late last night about Sunseri...

Sources tell Volquest.com that Green's expected interview doesn't mean that things are over with Sunseri. Some with knowledge of the situation have indicated that the interview went well and the process with Sunseri is ongoing.

10:30am Update: I'm told by sources that reports of Green accepting the DC job at this point in time are not accurate.

This tells me it is still possible and maybe probable smh

So Hubbs is not denying that Buddy has been 'offered' the job. BH is just saying that he has not 'accepted' the job. So if Buddy turns us down, sounds like we can go after Narduzzi. Well, we got that going for us!

Where is Hubbs posting this? Not finding it on TOS.

GQ. The parts about Sunseri and Narduzzi were posted late last night and are stickied at the top. The part about Green was a thread Hubbs started at 10:30.
