Probably true, but can you imagine how frustrating it must be for Pearl to be sitting in Auburn, AL, seeing the job you want more than any in the world come open twice in less than a year, and realize you have next to no shot at getting it!

This is simply not true, at least publicly. I don't know what Parrish says privately. He is a Memphis grad, but he is a national columnist who stays neutral. I listen to him almost everyday, and I can't count the number of times he has criticized Pastner. He calls it like he sees it.

In fact, yesterday, when announcing the development about Tyndall, he said, "Donnie is a good basketball coach." He knew Donnie from his other jobs. You just think he is partial because he is a Memphis grad.
