Agree 100%. Our best chances of winning championships is with Pruitt or Venables. 3 of the 4 HCs in the playoff are at their first HC job. I'd rather take a chance on a hot DC then what is below:

Not sure he's in NYC. Fulmer may have interviewed him and it hasn't gotten out, but I'd have to think our hire will come from the guys in NYC right now. Really think it's Miles. It just fits. If it is Miles, the real interest will be the staff he assembles. I'd bet the farm our next coach will be on Miles staff.

Fulmer needs to start at $7.5 Million per year with Pedersen for at least 5 years and offer him all the $$$ he needs to hire a great staff of coaches/recruiters.

I don't think Petersen is actually a Scientologist, just a rumor. I believe he's actually Catholic.

However, Leach is a Mormon, which wouldn't be a fit in a lot of southern football towns.

Football Scoop update says Fulmer is meeting with Mel Tucker again today. But is also keeping options open for other potential candidates. However, according to multiple sources, they are also reporting that Fulmer wants to name the new coach today.
