The people who say "good riddance" that Brown is gone, is comparable to the guy who has a girl way out of their league, the girl leaves them, and they say good riddance I don't need her. They go get drunk, to piss their sorrows away, and screw the beast in the short skirt at the bar. Wake up the next morning and gnaw their arm off to get from out under the heifer they slept with.

This is in no way a good thing for the Vols. Is it a season ender? Not by any means. Is Poole the Heifer with a beard and a skirt? No. We are not screwed, but I would rather have a backfield with Brown in it, than not in it. Thats for sure.

I hate the mentality of the fan base who have this attitude that if someone leaves the program, or doesn't choose UT, they suck, and we're better off without them. Thats just idiotic.

He's having personal issues. Let him settle it on his own.

No one knows his personal issues. It could be something worth transferring for. How is he a quitter? Unless you know exactly what is going on in his personal life, you shouldn't call him a quitter. If he is transferring because he is afraid of competition, then so be it, but we don't know why he is transferring. Him transferring does not change the fact that he had a ton of potential.

I think BB was more like the girl that was really hot, and appeared to be out of your league. However, when she was naked, she had huge ugly moles all over her body and was terrible in bed.

We truly are better off not spending the next two years trying to convince ourselves that a mediocre back is going to be the second coming of Jamal Lewis.

I wish the kid all the best. Seems like whatever is going on may be pretty serious. If he feels the issues are serious enough that they can only be addressed by moving home, then I hope he gets everything squared up. I would be more upset if he was leaving us for USC, but it seems he simply wishes to return home. Nothing wrong with wanting to be with your family.

Anyone who thinks the team doesn't need more talent at every position including RB is a fool. UT has NO proven RB's. The chances of finding 1 or 2 great RB's out of 5 guys with raw talent is better than the chances if you have only 4.

I agree with Vols N Shocks. This is by no means a season ender, but it weakens an already thin team. There is plenty of depth at RB, but when talented players leave the team, it can't help. If he was a problem, or UT could have used his scholly this year, maybe. What if UT gets a couple of injuries at RB (i.e. Toney Williams)? Brown could at least have played special teams or given someone a rest. UT gets nothing out of him now.

I wonder if the Iowa fans said the same thing about Tyler Smith when he transferred - he had personal issues - let's give Bryce our prayers for resolving his personal issues not our complaints. Our Vols can still have a good running attack - Go Big Orange !

What signs did you see that pointed to Bryce Brown being anything but an overhyped running back? He is good, but not the best running back in the country as his recruitment would suggest.

Look at the bright side. You just freed up a scholarship. Maybe offer it to someone who doesn't already have a "manager"?

I do not understand why if someone on here does not agree with some on here they are labeled ignorant. I personally hoped he would stay and I personally think Poole was going to beat him out. That is another thing when Poole come here people on here was pumped now some act like he is a can of corn. So in other words, Good luck BB and your future somewhere else . If he doesn't want to play for TN then he needs to go.
