The rumor is that Jimmy Sexton is the one nuking the search. He’s angry at Penn State with how they handled Franklins firing and perhaps some personal beef with the AD and is keeping all of the coaches he represents from being signed

Part of tOSU not winning the B1G in 21-22-23 might be that Michigan was stealing signs.

And Oregon IS a problem for the B1G because Phil Knight is really old and really wants the Ducks to get a Natty before he dies. He'll keep shoveling money at the program until he gets it or he dies.

Over the past four seasons, Michigan's 1 national title, 3 Big Ten titles, and 3-1 record versus Ohio State is still more dominant than Ohio State's 1 national title, 0 Big Ten titles, and 1-3 record versus Michigan.

Jimmy is most likely flooding the PSU campus with muffin baskets and other treats.

I know I would be.

With all the new contracts and raises PSUs mess has gotten his clients in the last few weeks, Ole Jimmy has made millions

A limit to what? Even if Tennessee had won all of its games during the playoffs last season and Heupel had hoisted the trophy, I would've been proud of the national title, but I wouldn't have gone around saying Tennessee "owned the SEC" when other teams have actually been winning the SEC championship and getting the better of us head-to-head. There's pride, and then there's hubris. 😅

I believe they thought that had Sitake. Basically they are kind of about where we were in 2017 after the Dave Doreen rejection.

AD is gonna have to reboot.

Like I said, I honestly didn't think Heupel was even seriously on their radar. As they keep going down the list, the odds of him getting a call are increasing.

Face it, the guy brings a fun offense to town-for a few years until questions start getting asked. Fans would be overjoyed for a few years though. Resets Heupels "clock" and calms PSU fan/booster qualms.

This is what happens when a program fires a coach with a 104-45 record that was in the CFP semifinals the year before.

With the way Clemson has been barking at Dabo, I think the path is pretty clear for Dabo to leave Clemson as early as next year and head to Bama. They'll be some talks put in place that to change his portal philosophy. They'll probably have the GM handle all that so he doesn't have to put up with it.
