You just dont hear as much about that because there reporters dont smash their coaches in the paper like the kns does:eek:k:

You trash Paterno in Pennsylvania and you'd better look out for the lynch mob. He had four losing seasons in five years and then went 11-1 and he was a demigod again.

He also kept a guy on his team one year after he'd been charged with a felony, saying he believed the player was innocent, and it turned out he was right. Since then JoePa's gotten a free pass on legal issues by his players, too.

Paterno, Bowden, and Fulmer... all three are struggling on and off the field and are past their primes. And all 3 are dragging their programs down with them as they chase their personal legacies (Bowden and Paterno are fighting for the all time wins title and Fulmer is trying to catch Neyland's win total).
