Uh oh, the oversaturation begins. Don't let this become about smushing us last night. Keep your eye on the prize!!

They already talked about FLA/TN. Said there's cause for concern in the Gators camp because they don't seem to be putting forth enough effort. Couldn't decide whether they were just bored, or if there are other problems going on with the team.

What all did he say? I only caught the very end where he asked for the guy to pick against him...

I think that "can't win it all" comment is also a little reverse psychology for the team -- a little challenge :)

Pearl's a stud ... what about wearing the orange sweater vest with a Power T logo?? The media loves him, and he milks them for all they're worth.

A very valid, if not incredibly obvious, question.

I think you hit the nail on the head. He does have to get them ready for UGA Saturday and for the SEC tournament. Can't let them get the big head.

Maybe, but I just think he's just being honest. .

Might also want to keep fans' expectations in check. Most realize there's a long, long way to go. But some evidently already booked tickets to Atlanta for 3/31 and 4/2. Can't say as I blame anyone for their enthusiasm after last night, but Pearl probably wants everyone to slow down and take a deep breath and, again, remain focused on the next task at hand.

I'd say it's a little bit of everything but when it comes right down to it, Tennessee just isn't at that NC level yet. I'm not saying they can't win it because on their best nights, they can beat any team out there. They just lack the consistency right now. The UGA game will tell an awful lot about where this team really is right now.

The UGA game will give some signs of that ability to stay focused and not think too far ahead. Still, after last night's performance, I'm telling you that if I am coaching anyone else out there, then UT is on the short list of teams I don't wanna play in two weeks.

Yeah, they're definitely coming along at the right time. I don't really think they ever dropped off, they just lost Lofton.

No, they just haven't been able to play on the road, up until the last game, with, or without Lofton.
