That's one thing about Pearl he knew how to set up good plays. I remember the play he set up in the sec tournament against SC when they ran that double screen to get Loften that wide open 3. In my opinion the best thing for TN basketball is Bruce Pearl.

One thing about Bruce is that you know exactly what you are getting. You even have a proven track record at UT. We aren't trying to compare how VCU's style would translate to UT's, etc. It seems to be a "no brainer." Sometimes we out-think ourselves/ K.I.S.S. and hire back Bruce.
Bruce said exactly what I posted yesterday which is exactly what any coach should when the opponent has three front line players with four fouls. Jarnell was almost speechless when asked why he didn't get the ball.
