If by truest and greatest, you mean most overrated and retread, then I agree! :)

AZ I'm with you....they were great back in the day but a decade later they just don't have it any more.

you're quote shows that they're vastly underrated....best songwriters of our time...just cause they didn't try to do ten #2 they get ripped on

ten #2? If you mean they didn't try to top the charts, then you know little about me - which would be true because you're new. I could care less about "hits".

The Stones... I can understand but PJ?

the last good song by the stones was in the 80s on their farewell tour "start me up"

pj just has a sound that is an acquired taste...but you can't deny they have a huge fan base and there are reasons for it whether you guys see it or not...

...and i guess i'm sorry for not being blessed enough to get to know you vollin...we should work on that...point is you have your opinion i have mine...i think they're great songwriters...its very different but yet still rocks so my head moves up and down:rock: ....def the best of the seattle scene movement

Celine Dion has a huge following too. I will not be paying to see her anytime soon.

I saw PJ a few times in the early 90's ut they have fallen off since. Saw them again in 01 and it was not the same.

They were not the best Seattle put out.

seen them 4 times...twas very very good(arabic accent)

by far the best...just cause you dont' like celine dion(i don't either) doesn't mean the rest of the world don't...

i admit some people that go to their shows expect the early stuff...so for them its always a let down at a pj show...i saw them in nashville 03...and the people were nuts...the hardcore fans were there...great atmosphere...there are a crap load of radiohead fans...i don't get that...but i understand it hits home to a lot of people...mine is just pj...

I saw them at the Murphy Center when I was in college after camping out all night for tickets. It was a good show, with the one disappointment being that they didn't play Black.

Saw them in 94 at the old Chicago Stadium (before the United Center). Good show. Urge Overkill and the Frogs opened.

I saw the Vs. tour in '94(?) at Michigan's basketball arena. I was a huge fan then. They sort of lost me after Vitology.

you're one of many, i understand....i think no code and yield are great...i think binaural is a subpar pj album...riot act is slightly better...and the newest one fits in w/ no code and yield...IMO vitalogy is my fav overall tho
