That interview has me even more fired up and ready for UT hoops this season! Bruce is unreal, the man has been here for a season and already bleeds orange like he's been a Vol all his life. BRUCE IS DA MAN!

Forget B--ball season, Heck, that interview has me fired up for 2 weeks from now! and yes, ghost, I had to smirk a little after the ambush interview at the next news story. Reporter struck me as a rude schmuck trying to make a name for himself at the expense of good journalism (i.e. being the story, not covering one!)

Reporter: Obviously UT has the best football team. But in basketball, Memphis is the best.

Bruce: I didn't realize there was any ranking that showed that

Reporter: Well, Memphis went to the elite 8 and had a better outcome than UT.

Bruce: That's just an opinion and you are certainly entitled to that.

Reporter: What's your opinion then?

Bruce: They beat us last year, but to say they are the #1 team in Tn, come on....

I think the University of Tennessee is a great institution and we don't take a back seat to anyone.

Reporter: So you are saying UT is the #1 basketball team?

Bruce: No, I think it is a Horse $*%t question to tell you the truth, ok, that's what I think.

Not exact quotes, but you get the idea.

Thanks USAF! Seems like those were leading questions. Wouldn't expect anything less from a reporter from Memphis though...

I hope we spank them this year in both football and basketball

That was great. I used to be a tv reporter, so I appreciated that even more. I second the comment made earlier about Pearl bleeding so much orange. I also am having trouble coming up with an action he has taken or something he has said that I don't support.

Ol' Bulldog sure has a limited line of interviewing questions. Maybe he went to the Homer Simpson school of broadcasting..

I'm thinking the bulldog should get contacts and ditch the glasses. That way maybe he would look a little less like a dweeb. Wait a minute, maybe he needs the glasses to avoid a few butt kickings from some folks that don't like to punch a sissy with glasses...

Well - that is THE worst, lowest budget station in Memphis so I am not surprised. You should see the guy that does the news - Cameron Harper. He is awful -

It was good to see that again. I wonder if ole "Bulldog" was in attendance at the arena last night.

There may not be a poll that shows the best team in Tennessee, but we sure kicked Memphis' butt last night! :dance2:
