With knee injury.

With this piece of news, coupled with B. Pearl's comments, it pretty much solidifies the rotation as:
Goins/Golden
Hopson/McBee
Tatum/McRae
Harris/Maymon
Williams/Fields

While I can't help but scream "pass!!" when Pearl touches the ball, I do like having him to share time

Lay off Pearl. He has never cost this team a game and plays with heart. I guess everyone else knows more about how to win games at UT then Bruce Pearl. Here's a news flash......Bruce Pearl is UT Basketball and when he's gone it's gone! I'm sure those of you who have a son would love to hear people on internet boards criticizing him on a daily basis.

The way the last three games have went I am pretty sure there is quite a few around here that could have out coached Bruce Pearl in those contests. Little Pearl should not be criticized, the person who puts him in the game should be crtiicized.

actually he can't score and limits our offense so he has at least indirectly caused us to score fewer points than our opponent (not an expert but I'm pretty sure that's one of the key components to winning). I wish injury on no one and hope he gets better soon but he does need to see fewer minutes

Except for the fact that when Pearl was in the game and playing at the three Jio Fontan was guarding him and literally stood in the middle of the lane and let Pearl run around him.

Hard to run your offense when the defense can leave one defender in the middle of the lane.

Is our rotation too deep? I remember a few years ago having a deep rotation helped us out greatly. But we were also playing a different style of ball. It seems that B Pearl is behind the curve a bit. He changed he style to better suite his players but didn't change his rotation or how many people are in that rotation. USC beat us with like a 7 man rotation and I believe that we ripped off 8 or 9 straight wins last year after losing 4 of our players. Just something to think about.....

Yes. McBee, Pearl and Woolridge combined for 20 minutes, scored 0 points, 0-3 shooting, 0 rebounds, 0 assists and 1 turnover.

That's bad and it doesn't even account for the three turnovers for six points that were directly attributable to the guy guarding Pearl dropping all the way into the middle of the lane and intercepting passes or making a steal.

Unbelievable that some folks actually think that these three should not be part of the rotation. With this type of contribution most every game, how could anyone think that they don't belong in the rotation?

But Pearl is Charlie Hustle, McBee has awesome Bama Bangs, and Woolridge is a youtube rapping sensation. That's gotta add to the stat line somehow.

Steven has given the team toughness inside when needed, but he will not and cannot shoot from the outside so either he or Hopson have to sit because of the lack of offense. Since the opponents feel that they no longer must guard Pearl, I guess he sits. But I think it would do the team good to bench Hopson too. At least make him come off the bench until his head is right.

I just hope that something is not wrong with the kid like Loften had to deal with his senior year when we wondered where his 3 ball went.
