PC Online Gaming

My brother-in-law is setting up a server to host the following:

• Battlefield 2 v1.4
• Raven Shield
• Unreal Tournament 2004

Would anyone here be interested? I say we will run a few custom maps for each game. We would like to get a few peeps to make it fun.

I'm guessing a Gears of War server to once the game release later this year for PC.

My computer can barely run Minesweeper. I'll stick with my trusty 360.

I played a 14-day trial of City of Heroes earlier this year and decided I don't like PC gaming.

I'm still a console person myself, but don't base PC gaming on City of Heroes! :sick:


I still enjoy gaming with PC games for the mods.

I love online shooters- and yes, I've been involved in more than one MMOG :whistling:

My computer is starting to go the way of the dinosaur now- and I've got a shiny new 360 to play around with. I won't get back in PC games until I upgrade.

The only problem I see with PC gaming is the specs required to run some of the newer games at a high res. I like to build my own so it's easy for me to keep up but most have some off the shelf model that costs 3x what it should. The plug n play of a console just makes it easier.

^ Werd. Gotta build your own desktop. I'm working on that... So far I got something planned with an NVIDIA 8600 and Corsair 2G DDR2. And possibly getting hooked up with an Intel Core 2 Extreme from my dad.
