Anybody else think Sean Payton was being a bit of a jerk talking about Coach O like that! Saying he was glad he was gone.

Well I don't guess I can blame Payton...if I had a guy on staff dragging arse and always on the damn phone it would probably get under my skin. With that said I could care less about Sean Payton and the NO Spanx.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. Sure didn't seem unhappy with O when he and the Saints sat down with him to try and talk him into staying.

Payton should worry about keeping his own job and the job he's doing as head coach. That team is far too talented to be at 8-8.

Sean Payton was the "boy wonder" coach back in '06 when everything was going their way, now though, not as much.

Pretty classless on Payton's part.

The guy loves the college game, he decided to go back...why cry about it?

Sounds eerily familiar to the LSU fans who loved him until he was no longer their's.

Sean Payton is on borrowed time...

In big time coaching everytime you open your mouth you either build a bridge or burn one. I'm suprised at this point in his career he hasn't learned tact any better than he's learned how to finish.

One more year like this one and Payton won't have to worry about assistant coaches anymore. They were a runaway pick to win that division in the preseason. Underachieving at the pro level will get you fired quickly.

Payton was just transferring a little responsibility for their season on someone leaving, hoping to buy more time ....

......I would've been more excited about talking to Tennessee than coaching their crappy D-Line anyday. I'm sure Payton wasn't excited and had his mind 100% completely on what he was doing prior to taking the Saints job right? Get over it douchebag.
