Douchey......you'd be best served staying mute.

Wow you have a real problem when people don't just agree with you don't you?

You probably kicked your dog or smacked your wife over it last night didn't you.

Grow up, what a child! There will be plenty of people who disagree with statements that you make. Sorry, but I am sure I am not the first!

Seems like a worthy thread in the eyes of Volnation. 29 responces in 3 days, and over half of it is people arguing with me about the Thread worthy Comment! Hillarious!

Touchy, Actually many people have mentioned buyouts without starting a Thread about it. It is just a mute point, we owe what we owe. Not worthy of arguing or even discussing about it, this Thread is a gateway for off topic discussion, but wait so is everyother Thread on VolNation.

It's not trolling if yours are the olny feelings that get hurt. carry on. Offseason Threads always SUCK!

Moot*

It's not just him. Who are you to decide what is a worthy discussion and what is not? You say "arguing", but the only argument is the one you started about the worthiness of the topic. Posting about the topic of the OP would be "discussion". I can provide you the definitions if you need me to.

Off season threads don't always suck. They do always suck when people like you decide a topic is not worthy of discussion and hijack it.

You do realize you do not have respond in topics you are not interested in, don't you? Another thought: This OP had a fairly descriptive title. You do not have to click on it if you do not want to discuss.

Finally, if YOU were mute, we would not be having this "discussion".

Your awesome. Quiet a man. No responce or Comment necessary on this Thread. It would be mute anyway.

Curries buyout was far worse than any coaches -

Agreed. Beautifully handled by our incompetent Chancellor Beverly Davenport. He gets paid more after being fired from his job than he does to either do his job or be suspended from his job. Completely incompetent contract negotiation.

No need to apologize. This time of year this thread is just as interesting as many others. Jmho.

Exactly.

It would either be this or "we can't fire X coach because we re broke and can't afford more buyouts and a new staff."

Why is everyone so worried about what Tennessee owes previous coaches?

Tennessee isn't in trouble financially! Why does it matter! The money is there, why worry about such minor details?
Because, why would we want to keep wasting money on previous coaches? That money could be put towards something else.

Heck yeah! Think of the players we could buy.....................er, ..........uh, I mean RECRUIT!

Turned to Phil out of desperation when the wolves were about to come to her door, saved her own ass, had no choice. Her true colors had her in the Haslam-Currie cabal. Not a fan, never will be.

Put said “ass” on the line by hiring Fulmer. No one’s had the nuts to defy the Haslam’s in forever...took a lil lady to do it! :aggressive:

Not buying it brother, it was her only play. Self-preservation after the Schiano debacle....not hard to “defy” the emperor when everybody finally noticed he no longer had any clothes on.

It was and is dangerous for her. I think she had deferred to him after the hire because it was known that was how business on the Hill was conducted. If she doesn’t hire Fulmer, it still would be. Wasn’t a fan of hers before...am now.
