Will he ever see the field? This season Kamara & Hurd will likely play extensively. Kelly will play immediately or red shirt.
Then next season, bUTch will likely recruit another top running back, which will further bury him on the depth chart.

I know, you missed my point.

The way I understood it was that we were taking 3 RBs because it was assumed Paulk was gone. Had the staff known Paulk would be on the team, I don't think they would have taken 3 RBs, thus Fords spot would have remained.

Not telling the recruits that Paulk is returning helps the chance of over signing and taking 3. After they sign, they will work out who transfers in a few months.

I do not see any situation where he is allowed back on the team.

He is not innocent. He punched his girlfriend in the face in front of an entire room of witnesses.

She did not press charges, but after talking to the dozens of witnesses, who included teammates and other student-athletes, he was removed from the team.

That's what I figured. When people said he was coming back as" she lied" it didn't fit the being dismissed and not just suspended. IMO Butch would not have booted him so quickly without witnesses to what happened. Just because she changed her mind about charges, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

If nothing has been proven either way then yeah reinstate him. I'd say whatever was told to CBJ by Elliott Berry about that day will have a lot to do with decisions made imo.

Immediate dismissal and not suspension is usually a pretty telling fact. To compare, AJ was suspended when accused of rape not dismissed.

I believe, so I would think that he has earned Butchs judgement on this. If Cheek, Hart and Jones think so, then I trust that

Good chance of this happening. I was initially told this wouldn't happen ( backed up by Deer Park btw ;)) but now it looks very likely.

She didn't press charges nor take out a protection order. He was never charged. You never really know in these situations. We all hear stories about a man hitting a woman and we just assume it's the truth based on history. What a lot of us don't consider is that in a lot of cases the female was the original aggressor and by any account the man could have been defending himself. It's like the fight on the football field. The ref only sees the retaliation and not the initial aggressor.

Who knows, it's just a rumor at this point though. I guess we'll see.
