Paul finebaum show

Looks great. Funny!

Was interesting to hear Paul say today that he was proud of his alma mater, but calls games and "roots" for the team that makes his business thrive. Makes sense, actually.

Agreed. Get this show off the air. I didn't like it on the radio. ESPN/SEC can def figure out something better than this garbage for (what is it?) three hours a day :/

Well, guys, after a few weeks away for yet another darn back surgery, I'm back. I'll be calling the show tomorrow, most likely, but while I was laid up I had the time to put together a little Finebaum video rant for Bama Hate Week. So, if you're up for a chuckle, go and check it out on my Youtube channel--

Hopefully it doesn't suck.

Glad to see you back and hope you have a fast recovery!

GBO!!!

BEAT BAMA!!!

Algae Pachyderms for the win

I hope we manage to beat bama just so I can watch Paul and the Alabama fan base implode about us taking them out of contention for the playoffs. He's been saying since before the season started that a two loss team likely won't even be considered. This might be sacrilege to some but I'd just assume the SEC not even make it to the playoffs if Alabama is the only option. So here's to cheering on LSU!

He genuinely cares about UT as he graduated from here. That being said, he said he will be pulling for Bama in the game (due to business purposes)

He essentially said he's in a no lose situation. He would be very happy with a UT win but for business reasons it would be better for bammer to win. I understand that.

Is it just me, or does anyone else respond with a loud "F*** You" every time you here that rtr?

Thank goodness I don't have company this time of year, a normal person would think I suffer with tourette's.

Im not sure its any better for business when they win. His show goes epic after a loss.

He's talking about the national build up of the bammer vs LSU game if bammer wins. A loss to us would essentially take bammer out (please let this happen) of playoff talk.

I see. Yeah that would smolder out the excitement of that game.

It's good for his business to root for Bama. It's better for his show when they lose though

I'd assume the national hype of the game would benefit the parent company (ESPN/CBS) in advertisement sales/rates. It would be the game day and game of the week for sure. Remember the golden rule. He who hhas the gold rules.

Almost the first sentence out of Finebum's mouth was "It's SO good to be home again" as the camera panned the Bama campus. I turned the TV off. I've had enough of the Bama lovefest. I don't care who keeps them out of the playoffs-- us, LSU, MSU or Auburn-- just please, somebody, kill their season.
