It's a terrible show unless you like SEC football fans--and mostly bama and auburn fans--yowling at each other endlessly--provoked by Finebaum, who is a real yokel himself. You have to be pretty mindless to listen to that regularly--but then redneck SEC chest-beating is pervasive in the South, which makes it the perfect show. Finebaum is no different than O'Reilly or some of the others on Fox: you drop some chum in the water every day--something that excites the fan base of one team, say, while annoying the fan bases of others--and then wait a few seconds for silly diehards to light up the phones.

PF is a guilty pleasure of mine I dont really care for him. But having those idiotic fans on as background noise as a work is a nice break from reality.

He has made tons of $$$ why would they change their format? Im just glad its those 2 fanbases making idiots of themselves and not our 10% ers

It's actually the one year anniversary of the SEC Network and Finebaum on TV today. No matter what else, the payout? It's NICE. For all SEC schools.

I like the Finebaum show. It's fun and entertaining. People like to make fun of the low brow comedic nature of the callers, but honestly that's the best part. The characters. Apparently a lot of other people like it, too.

Right now, the Lochamy Brothers are doing a series of skits with well-known Finebaum callers that is absolutely hysterical. They already have done Tammy (Auburn) and I-man (Also Auburn). Sources say that Phyllis (Bama originator of the Cowturd rant last year) and a UT fan are coming soon.

The sketches are totally hilarious, though. Wow, do Auburn fans hate Alabama.

Heard Pawl say the other day he would back UT in some discussion. Said that is where his degree came from and he was going with TN. As for the Allabubba and Barners going at one another I think a lot of that has to do with they feel more comfortable calling in to his show. They have done it for many years on the radio. Pawl needs good entertaining people on the air. As more time goes by I thing more schools will get more air time, he just needs to get entertaining callers like Phyllis. He is looking for ratings and knows there are a lot more states in the SEC footprint. Pawl just wants to get paid, ratings = $$$$$$ .

But that 10% makes sure that they are heard:

"Yeah uh Pawl Uh, watch yer show everday uh, whatcha thank about the Vawls chaances of uh, winnin' the east".

If he watches the dam* show "everday" why is he asking the exact question that Paul answers "erday" from one of our inbred fans? :stop:

1 - Open up a Mic have some drunks and mental midgets call in and talk nonsense about schools they probably have never seen

2 - Charge for commercials and syndication

Holy Crap I just heard Tammy from Clanton AL (Auburn fan). She makes Phyllis look sophisticated by comparison. I don't know how Finebaum keeps from laughing his A$$ off at these people from AL.

Like I said in my previous post, it is remarkable how he has made a living off those 2 DA fan bases.
Clay Travis has tried his best to steal this format but ultimately his ego got in the way here in Nas.

Great call Celina. Was very proud. You killed those stupid Florida fans. I hate everything Florida on principle and I was literally fist pumping everything you said. I sorta faltered on the secondary because of Jalen Tabor, but man, I think about it and that safety spot isn't great, is it? Great call

did anyone watch/listen Monday? Some other guy was hosting. There was a lady that went OFFFFFFFFFFF...it was hilarious. I was sad she was an Auburn fan lol.

she said "S-E-C- SKEDJUUUUUUUU" about 30 times in a 2-minute rant

Yeah, I meant to touch on their losing their mike linebacker which was the whole reason I brought up the secondary at all, but forgot and now am dealing with the gator wrath on twitter. It's all good. All I have to say is "offense" or "o-line" or "QB" and they go right back to calling themselves DBU. Meant what I said though. We ARE going to DRAIN THE SWAMP this year.

Heh--usually harder to get through in the second half of the show. But, you can catch it on the replay on the ESPN Radio app at 7 and it might make the 'best of' podcast, which lasts about twenty minutes--but only because Gator tweets are really hardcore right now. I think I touched a raw nerve down there in the Swamp. Those folks sure are real upset.

What a pity.

I vote her, if it was her, and I'm 99% sure, to be the Volnation spokesperson On PFS.:) The woman can knows her biz.

And she ain't hard on the eyes, with all due respect. ;)
