The story goes that when he was a young kid he stuck his head out the car window going eighty. His dad pulled over thinking the car had a tire blow out but it was discovered it was pauls ears that were beating against the car.

I refuse to watch anything with him on it. I wouldn't listen to him on the radio show and I won't watch him now. He plays to the lowest emotions of the people who call in to hear themselves on the radio (and TV now). To me, he is scum of the lowest level.

I don't watch the SEC Network until Saturday when a game is on of importance. If during the week there's a TN game on I like I may watch the network then. But I've been disappointed in the network so far w/the programming that they have. Should be called the Alabama network.

IMO you can tell the Gameday guys do not particularly care for him. No camaraderie when he is on the set. Why SEC Network hired him can only be attributed to them wanting a LOT of Bama fans watching.

finebaum loves alabama--has long hated tennessee---that gives him all kinds of inside access with saban and more redneck listeners down in trailerparkville

Folks, they're gonna focus on whoever is winning. They're talking a lot more about the Mississippi schools now than at launch. Just have to win SEC games.

I really don't get it. How could someone attend UT for 4 years, write for the Daily Beacon, then become a Bama fan without even attending UA.:crazy::crazy:

I could understand someone having a second team. Heck I lived in New Orleans for 8 years and attended several LSU games, they are my second favorite SEC team, but I would never want them to beat TN.

PS: Since he no longer considers himself a UT alum, perhaps the university should delete his transcripts and void his degree.

I haven't listened to finebaum in a few days but I'm assuming he said he supports Bama in thus game because they are still playing for a spot in the playoff.

I broke down and paid for the package so I could watch the Mississippi game and bam a games on my big screen. Because of that I'm trying to get my money's worth and watch what they have on the SEC. I've seen f***balm all week. Had it on in the background while doing other stuff. He hasn't said nothing himself that I've heard, but he has had people on talking about the game. They all said the same thing: UT has a fantastic D, is VERY WELL COACHED on offense, and have the skill players, but have no offensive line. They have gone so far as to say that they can't tell you who's on oline at this point. Basically we are going to play with out one.

Personally I think that is unfair to the kids we are able to collect and throw on the field...at least it hurts to hear.

But most Bama fans do not have electricity....:hi:

Because my UT fandom began in the 2000's, I hate UF far more than UA.

That said, my feelings on Finebaum are more of beffudlement. I've tuned in to his radio show twice for fewer than five minutes each time, and I've tried to watch his show twice. He's the least engaging, most pedestrian and boring talk show "personality" I've ever seen. I just don't see the appeal...

guess he should try to be a complete homer and be as unbiased as possible....I lived on the 5th floor of Morrill Hall same time Paul did, kind of appreciate what the guy has accomplished. But, yes he is a very unattractive human being

I've only watched him a few times...but it is obvious that he goes out of his way to bash us. The last time I watched, they were talking about TN and Bama and how its shouldn't be considered a rivalry game anymore because TN hasn't won in 7 years. By his thinking, I guess its not been a rivalry for the last 14 years, seeing that TN won 7 straight before that...
