Patterson looked pretty irate tonight

Thought Lane ran well tonight. CP will only get better and better. JH needs a good psychologist and I need another Jack and Coke. Cheers...

Lane did look good, but as usual, we abandon the run game (both because of necessity and because of Cheney being a piss-poor coordinator).

CP has every right to get mad... Not sure that a public display of emotion every time is appropriate though. I don't blame him... we need coaching bad.

Well, with this team I'm just glad to see something other than pouting and slack-jawed confusion for once.

Patterson is pretty much the only positive on this team right now. I shudder think what it would be like without him.

He should throw his hands up in disgust. If Bray would of led him it would of been picked off by the safety. Sit down in the hole or curl back, don't run right into the safety. Ball was thrown where it needed to be thrown on that play.

Patterson is the only real athlete on the team.

is not good. Steve Spurrier dominated the SEC for a decade with QBs--and sometimes receivers--who were not that impressive athletically. In fact, I don't think any spurrier QB at florida made it the NFL. Wuerffel--who I think threw more TD passes than any QB in college history (or he's right at the top), was not big or mobile and did not have a good arm--he short-armed the ball. But he had an amazing career. Spurrier coached up his talent. Our OL has played well, and we're running the ball MUCH better than we have in YEARs--100 yards more per game on the ground. But our passing game has got terrible and we don't know how to execute on 3rd down. We always fall behind, the offense usually rallies us, and then the offense flops when we need a score most. Tonight we couldn't do anything.

Patterson's frustrated no doubt...but he's about the only player that has really made any thing happen by himself!

I don't think Dooley keeps his job, BUT... If he was to bench Bray, and we win the remainder of the games... which is possible. I think Hart keeps him. Which I hope I'm wrong because I'm sick of getting outcoached.

Why would playing Worley make us beat SC?

After the last throw from Bray to Patterson that soared over and behind Patterson and almost intercepted (surprise, surprise), Patterson threw his hands up and was visibly upset. Went to the sidelines and continued his animated display of disapproval for a bit until some players and coaches got to him and calmed him down.

Doubt we keep Patterson with this kind of performance from his peers week in and week out.[ Bray comes up small against top-flight opposition. Likewise Hunter doesnt show up in the big games which is disturbing.

yes he plays hard but he needs to run better routs before he yells at everyone else. i do hope he comes back. fun to watch. his cut backs are great they make the other team look silly. :)

CP has earned our unconditional support on this issue. I'm on his side.

Sometimes Bray makes me wonder how he passes the drug tests after smoking all that weed. I don't know that he does, but it sure would explain what he's doing at halftime instead of making adjustments and preparing for the 2nd half.

I think our OC is the main problem. I think Bray could be good with some coaching.

I'm pretty the coaches have told him to stop throwing the ball to the other team. I'm sure the coaches have told him to check down. I'm sure the coaches have went over film with him and repeatedly show him missed opportunities throughout previous games.

At what point do we say that the problem is Bray??

With that being said, Chaney does some stupid sh*t sometimes.

cp played hard tonight as did most of the team,i think the effort was there just not the coaching

Go rewatch the game and see how many plays Hunter took off. I was shocked and yes, from a coaching perspective I would have considered benching for a lack of effort. Unreal display!!

True, but I've seen little to give me any hope that Hart & Co. are willing to do just that.

Hope I'm wrong though.

Good game to CP, Palardy, and the run defense. About the only bright spots out of that joke of a game we just played.

I thought it was a good sign to see all the Haslam's there tonight. They were letting Hart & Co. know they are watching.
