I have concluded that while offensive isn't the main problem this season, (Sunseri's defense is), Patterson is a huge difference maker. He should touch the ball at least 20 times per game, he is simply amazing with the ball in his hands. Our coaches should line him up at qb for more snaps, just let him run the wildcat left, right or up the middle. He won't score on every play but he needs more touches. Keep running him at tailback with the toss sweep, and WR for deep routes, and over the middle.

Patterson is our horse and the Vols should ride him to a winning season and bowl game,

Kind of amazing that everyone, except our coaching staff, has already figured this out.

Maybe they can work on it during the open date .... Oh, wait.

Not arguing for Mike Leach at UT, but is there any doubt that ML would have had CP getting the ball all the time, every game?

Ive been wondering the same thing. Patterson is bigger, faster, and stronger than any other skill position player we have on offense. Why aren't they using him more?
Thought other than the coaches are stupid?

Patterson is possibly the most dangerous player in the SEC, yet Chaney apparently can't figure out how to get the ball into his hands with any consistency. He's averaging under 6 offensive touches per game, which is ridiculous and inexcusable.

Patterson is now our 2nd-leading rusher with 219 yards on just 11 carries.
